Synopsis

In the Southern Song Dynasty, in Lin'an, Xiaobai finally finds the reincarnation of Axuan—Xu Xian—after five hundred years. The two meet at the Broken Bridge. Xiaobai and Xiaoqing hide in the streets and alleys, starting a lively life with Xu Xian and his brother-in-law Li Gongfu. However, strange incidents suddenly occur in Hangzhou City. Fahai from Jinshan Temple arrives to exorcise demons, unexpectedly revealing the snake demon identities of Xiaobai and Xiaoqing. Xu Xian is horrified to witness Xiaobai transform into a giant python. In this fleeting life, is Xu Xian worth this life-and-death tribulation?
